Is this cream greasy? Does it leave a greasy film on the skin?
No, our creams are all formulated with sensorial textures that penetrate the skin very well. Smithsonite Cream is a real mineral dressing that soothes and protects sensitive skin, but without any filmy feel to the skin.
How does smithsonite soothe my skin? The main action of smithsonite?
Our Smithsonite Cream, as the name suggests, contains Smithsonite extract. Smithsonite is a stone very rich in zinc. This trace element is involved in numerous skin protection and repair reactions, notably through activation of Metallothionein, a stress protein that repairs DNA damage caused by aggressive environmental factors. Skin is immediately soothed after application and, day after day, redness disappears and skin regains comfort and natural protection.
Is it a day or night cream?
You can use it as a day cream AND a night cream. A dab of cream is all you need, on a cleansed face and neck. We recommend using Smithsonite Concentrate before the cream to boost its action and achieve faster results! Especially for the most sensitive skin types.
I have dry skin. Can I use it?
If you have dry, sensitive skin, you can use our Smithsonite Cream combined with our Délice de Péridot dry oil, for example. Or as a day cream and Jade Cream as a night cream.
How much is used?
A hazelnut is enough! Our creams are highly concentrated in active ingredients and our textures spread very well, so there’s no need to apply too much. Ideally applied to cleansed face and neck after lotion + serum!
How well does it protect the skin? Can I apply it after sun exposure?
This cream is a real mineral dressing! It has a 3-step action: 1 – soothe, 2 – repair, 3 – protect. Its immediate soothing action makes it an excellent after-sun treatment, especially for sunburn.
