Can it be used on mixed-race skin?
Yes, of course, our products are designed and formulated for use by all skin types. They are particularly appreciated and effective on black and mixed-race skin.
What's the difference between sun spots and age spots?
In both cases, it’s a localized overproduction of melanin (the skin’s color pigment), but the biological mechanisms involved are different. For sun spots, melanin production is stimulated by the production of a hormone (MSH) which is produced during UV exposure. In the case of age spots, this is often due to a disturbance in the production and migration of melanin on the skin’s surface. The products in the Perle Blanche range act on all these biological mechanisms simultaneously.
Does it remove dark circles?
Its brightening action (Bisabolol + Vitamin C) has a noticeable effect on dark circles. White Pearl provides a soft-focus effect to illuminate the eyes.
What does Gemwhite Complex contain? What does the white pearl do?
Like all products in the Perle Blanche range, the Suprême cream contains the GemWhite Complex developed by Gemology. With White Pearl, Bisabolol, Vitamin C and Vitamin B3. It acts on radiance by reflecting light (soft focus pearl effect), reduces diffuse redness and uneven tanning by regulating the action of the hormone MSH, blocks melanin synthesis and regulates melanin transfer to the skin’s surface.
Can this range be used in summer?
Yes, the range can be used all year round, but particularly in summer, when the sun is strongest and most exposed, as this is when the risk of pigmentation spots appearing is highest.
What type of vitamin C is used?
We work with stabilized Vitamin C. In fact, vitamin C is a very fragile compound that reacts to light and decomposes rapidly. To avoid this, and to ensure that the Vitamin C has time to penetrate deeply and play a role in melanin synthesis, we stabilize the Vitamin C. Otherwise, it would have no effect.
